Then, started the game of finding the best spot for the sunset of the day. Climbing the mount of Kep – Sur – Mer for 30 minutes to say goodbye to the sun worthed the effort.
Coming back with a small light at night in the jungle, telling each other’s horrors stories was not the best idea ever, I have to admit. You feel like a child again and scream at every strange noise you heard in the bushes…
A casual jump in the sea reveled to be my first rendez-vous with the so-much-expected and beloved phosphorescent plancton! If I want to look cool, I would say that was really fantastic and that I’ve been lucky that night.
The truth? I got completely hysterical and I nearly cried when I realized that every movements I was doing in the dark was followed by hundred of sparkles. Can you imagine it? No jokes, I was waiting for that moment for ages (since I’ve watched The Beach, ten years ago actually). I could put this activity in my top 10 of my list of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in my life.
Life was just so simple, so perfect…
