I remember the first step of this trip.
Every step I’m doing, every floor I have the chance to walk on with my dirty converses, every rivers I’m crossing, every stairs or mountains I’m climbing, in the snow, in the sand or in the mud are like the conclusion of what I’ve done so far and are the promises of an unknown but bright future.
I remember the first step of these three days of trekking. I was so optimistic that I refused to think about the pain I would probably endure later.
First tip: as comfortable converses can be, do this trek with proper shoes. I destroyed my knees after few hours and had no other choice than continue the two other days.
Second tips: don’t take too much things in your bag. You won’t need a lot. Two panties, a towel and three tee shirts. Oh and a soap and a big jumper for the night.
Third tips: be prepared to have enough battery in your camera, you’ll see incredible scenes and no electricity to charge anything at night.
Fourth tips: if you can, find the app Buddhify and use it while you are walking. Meditating is just the best when you walk for a long time and help you to empty your mind and focus on the good side of this adventure. Not on how painful and tiring it is!
