I can’t stop

You know what I mean by night bus right? Same thing happened again.

I’ve been dropped in Bagan earlier with Nicholas, met in the bus, after a cold night, shaken everywhere due to the bad roads. I finished the night on a small sofa in the hotel I was expecting to stay for few days, waiting for the early check in.

Bagan is really particular city. Buddhism started in Myanmar from here around the eleventh century and they did a great job about building stupas and temples. Thousand of them are concentrated in a “small area”. No normal scooter here, if you want to wander from a stupa to another you have two solutions: the  caleche or the electric scooter.

Yep, that was it, my first time riding a scooter! And it was amazing… I couldn’t dream about a better place to start to ride the damn engine and enjoying it.

I randomly bumped into Nicholas a the top of one of the most famous temple to watch the sunset. That’s not exactly the best place if you want be on your own but that’s a terrific view of the city and the mountains around…

We decided to meet again for a frenchie Christmas eve that night. And had the best burger Myanmar could offer…
