I like taking the little roads when I visit a place but you never know if there will be a treasure at the end of the alley or if you’ll find the dump of the city. A nice and sunny path in the rice fields can turn into a muddy grey road. That’s when you regret to have come so far because you think you’ll never find your way back on time before sunset or because you feel that this dude working on the field is looking at you in a strange way.
To be honnest, I’ve been really lucky during this trip that nothing terrible happened to me and everytime my intuition tickled me, I bet it was just me being silly and over precautionous.nsometimes, people look at you just because they are not used to see a white chick running happily in their countryside. No they don’t necessarily want to rob you. I guess I was lucky to find good people on my way to help me anytime I needed. Or maybe in the end, the world is more filled with good people and Samaritans than with villains… Maybe in a way, positivism attract good vibes and life is no good or bad, the only important thing is the way you are looking at events and things.
Sashi drove me to her secret temple. A sort of alternative Tanah Lot, a black temple planted on a rock emerging in the sea, a quiet and peaceful oasis offering a place to rest for birds, an abundant and fertile seaside ravishing for fisher kids and seagulls.
I don’t remember the name of that place but I think I wouldn’t tell you even if I did. That’s Sashi special little place…
