I woke up with difficulty as my nose was bloked and my throat was sore as hell. I decided to skip the cooking lesson class and met Chloé for a quick breakfast and a visit of a temple. Afterall, I am staying in South East Asia, I will have the time to cook on the way if I really want to. Traveling is also choosing. You can’t do everything and go everywhere!

Chiang Mai I love you – Day 1
Chiang Mai… You are healing my soul and my body.
Train to Chiang Mai – Tiffany
Time to say hi and goodbye to Marion and Eddy who just arrived and I packed my bag direction the train station for another great adventure: the night train direction Chiang Mai.
Lop Buri – Monkey town
The second day in Lop Buri, I woke up super excited to have the chance to spend some time with the monkeys during the day.
I dressed up with what I thought was a warrior outfit.
The train – Journey to Lop Buri
The real adventure begin!
Nobody is waiting for me in Lop Buri and that’s really exciting. No stress, no anxiety, I can arrive there anytime, I’m my own master. Well sort of!
I’ve heard that the train from Bangkok to North Thailand is a journey that you don’t want to miss. Well here I am. Ready to go!
It’s all about myself now…
Taking care of myself has never been so important. I’ll have to listen to my wishes, my fears, my intuition.
I locked the door of my house that afternoon, dropped the keys in the letter box and while I put my bag on my back, I realize that it will become one of the most important thing I will carry on for 5 month, my little treasure. Of course, the real treasure will be found on the way: if I open my heart enough I will find myself again.

The first video
… Is always a difficult one to realise.
Jaqueline Kwinta
My dear readers, I would like to introduce to you my close friend Jackie. She is a polish-australian lady who left home three years ago for a road trip all over Europe for few weeks and finally decided to settle in England for a bit. We met one year ago in London and she was the kind of girl I admired for her experiences and for her strong, funny and generous character.
Before getting my tickets to South East Asia, I always fantasised about travelling on my own. I’ve met few girls during my life who decided to leave home with just a backpack. I realised that they were not that different from me, even if they were so much more courageous, mature and wise than me at this time…
A mantra of mine is: “Be your own hero”. So simple but so important at the same time. If I wanted to do this solo trip for so long and I admired the girls who did it, why couldn’t I do it too? Instead of admiring others, I had to work on, “being my own hero”… Jackie was one of the heros who influenced me to be a hero, myself.
Yes B*tch, I’m a f***ing Wanderlust Queen
There is this idealistic and glamorous image of the hippie on the road: free, wild, fresh.
You probably have seen these cute trendy pictures of these amazing young and beautiful girls, long hair, perfect boho outfit, enjoying the sun in an amazing place, with this quote about how easy and brilliant travelling is on the top. I know you did because they are everywhere on pinterest, facebook, instagram, tweeter and I don’t know where the hell else on the internets. I have to admit that they made me dream and I’ve been thinking about myself in the picture instead of the lady, on each of them… When you plan a trip, you want to look as cool, as rad and fit as the girl on the picture, innit?
In 47 days…
I’ll be gone.
Hop! In a plane direction Dubai.
I’ve been preparing for this trip for few months and I have to admit, I think about it all the time. While brushing my teeth I dream about the bad beds I will sleep in. On my way to work, I’m cycling between two buses but my spirit is transported in Angkor Wat and I imagine myself discovering the temples on a rusty bike. My friends, while we were sitting on the grass to catch the pale English sun on a quiet Sunday afternoon, I was already feeling the Thai sand between my toes, the taste of a fresh coconut on my tongue, gently lulled by the song of the waves…
