No need to say that everybody felt sick the next day and that we all went to bed early. It was my last day in Pai so I made sure to say good bye to all the places I’ve been, before chilling in a hammock at the Jazz bar and on a couch in the easy garden with the boys.

On the Road to Pai
You need to have a strong stomach and a lot of time in front of you to spend if you want to go to Pai. This little hippie town in the North mountains of Thailand is, said the Lonely Planet, “more a place to live and a state of mind than a place where you will visit”. Not a lot of lines to describe the place, I just take my chance and buy a ticket to go there.

Time to say hi and goodbye to Marion and Eddy who just arrived and I packed my bag direction the train station for another great adventure: the night train direction Chiang Mai.

Nobody is waiting for me in Lop Buri and that’s really exciting. No stress, no anxiety, I can arrive there anytime, I’m my own master. Well sort of!
I’ve heard that the train from Bangkok to North Thailand is a journey that you don’t want to miss. Well here I am. Ready to go!
It’s all about myself now…
Taking care of myself has never been so important. I’ll have to listen to my wishes, my fears, my intuition.
I locked the door of my house that afternoon, dropped the keys in the letter box and while I put my bag on my back, I realize that it will become one of the most important thing I will carry on for 5 month, my little treasure. Of course, the real treasure will be found on the way: if I open my heart enough I will find myself again.
