Bloody Sunset
Marion told me that the sunset had to be viewed at the sky bar, on the rooftop of the King Hotel. While I stayed there, drinking my passion fruit soda, I had this incredible feeling of gratefulness… Who turned quickly into deep sadness.
Bamboo train
After a little two hours walk, I ended up in the Battambang bamboo train station. A policemen (real one?) asked me to wait for another tourist to come to share a bamboo train. I start to make friend with the driver and ten minutes later a nice German lady arrived in a tuk tuk.

Battambang
Battambang made me feel like a city halfway between Thailand and Vietnam. This cute little place was under the French power for a long time, like in Vietnam… That maybe explains why the architecture at some point is so similar. After a fruit shake (this is the best breakfast you can have in Asia) at the White Rose, recommended by my friend Marion, I made my way to the Bamboo Train. It is an attraction for tourists now but they will probably stop doing it soon as Australia had a contract to regulate some roads and a lot of other things about transport in Cambodia. Or maybe I’ve heard somebody who’ve heard somebody who talked to somebody about it…. Something like that.

Little way to Cambodia
The day before, I tried to book a ticket to Cambodia for the next morning but no company would let me do it. They all said it was full and it was pretty expensive in the end. I just slept on the idea that I will find a solution… Later.
After a swim in the sea around 10 am, I decided that I wanted to go to Cambodia NOW.
