As you may know, I spent two years in London. You might think that for a frenchy, living on Queen Elizabeth’s island would have depressed my sensitives taste buds. And you would be wrong, oh so wrong my dear reader! London offered me the chance to discover cuisine from everywhere in the world.

Working on a blog while travelling
Before I stepped a foot in the wonderful experience that working on a “travel blog” is, I had romantic and fantastic ideas about how I will regulary post articles including photos and how working on the project of the wanderlust queens will not influence my trip really…
Little mermaid from Mongolia
It took me twenty minutes to guess that Vento was from Mongolia. If I’ve learned something during my trip is that you always can be surprised by the nationality of people. An accent or the color of the skin, the shape of the face or the way people dress themself up doesn’t mean anything and most of the time travelers have influences from everywhere.

Bloody Sunset
Marion told me that the sunset had to be viewed at the sky bar, on the rooftop of the King Hotel. While I stayed there, drinking my passion fruit soda, I had this incredible feeling of gratefulness… Who turned quickly into deep sadness.
How to manage a 20 hours trip when you are hungover in Thailand
No need to say that everybody felt sick the next day and that we all went to bed early. It was my last day in Pai so I made sure to say good bye to all the places I’ve been, before chilling in a hammock at the Jazz bar and on a couch in the easy garden with the boys.

In 47 days…
I’ll be gone.
Hop! In a plane direction Dubai.
I’ve been preparing for this trip for few months and I have to admit, I think about it all the time. While brushing my teeth I dream about the bad beds I will sleep in. On my way to work, I’m cycling between two buses but my spirit is transported in Angkor Wat and I imagine myself discovering the temples on a rusty bike. My friends, while we were sitting on the grass to catch the pale English sun on a quiet Sunday afternoon, I was already feeling the Thai sand between my toes, the taste of a fresh coconut on my tongue, gently lulled by the song of the waves…
The Wanderlust Queen Project
I wish I could say that I’m one of those people who wake up one day in their office, bored of their life and suddenly take a ticket to nowhere. But I’m not. I just caught the bug of travelling a long time ago I guess and even if my job, my house and my friends are awesome here in London, I can’t wait to hit the road with my loyal backpack.
