A pumpkin cake in my stomach, Noi, a Mahout, an elephant and me started to climb the mountain in the jungle for a morning walk.
After coming back to the camp, Noi and me had a mission. Finding bananas in the jungle around to feed the elephants for the day. I realised that it was an adventure when I had to walk in the river, the water above my knees, trying to avoid the spiders and the snakes on the side. Ok ok, they were one snake and maybe one spider but it looks so much more interesting if I say there is many of them isn’t it?!
We found a place were they were many banana trees and we have been joined by one of the gentleman working here. They laughed a lot about my slippery steps in the mud and my red face as I was climbing the side of the mountain. We took back the bananas branches, cleaned them in the water and selected the mature one for the day.

After a quick shower, it was time to come back in the group coming for the day, having lunch and participate with the activities of washing the elephant. I felt like I’ve been in the Park for ages and even without words, I felt like a connection with the elephants and their mahouts… Who were way more confident with me and basically buried me in the mud!

Afterall, I said good bye and a warm thank you to everybody. It was an amazing experience that I would recommend. Guys, if you are around, think about spending your money in nice places like that. You’ll help people who try to make a change in the world.
