Last day in Bangkok. I thought that I had seen enough of this city but I needed to see two more places to feel satisfied.

Drax 50th Birthday – BKDX50
This is the kind of night you regret not having your camera with you. Or not…
Chinese area and Chatuchak
You can be anti or pro Facebook but when it helps you finding in Bangkok some mates that you’ve met on the way, you have to cherish this social media. A simple location post by Thierry made us realized that we could see each other one more time before they fly back home. We all wanted to go to Chatuchak, one of the biggest market in Asia. It was also the occasion for me to try to take the metro for the first time, but not on my own.
Ayutthaya
A bit confused, I arrived at the train station at 3am. It was already hot. Maybe it just never stopped to be hot in the end…
I sat down on a bench, not really sure about what I was thinking about when I took that cheap ticket to come here. I was a lonely girl with all her belongings with her in a place where she was not supposed to be. I didn’t felt really in danger as there is always policemen and monks around in a train station but… Rule number one, never stay too long around a train station at night, anywhere in the world. Ah nah, that’s rule number two sorry. The first one is: “Don’t come back with a child”.
Canyon And Waterfall / Interviews
In the morning, two French guys were having a coffee in the outdoor area of the Lazy hostel. I don’t like talking in the morning. I don’t like to talk to French people just because I’m French. That could have started badly but we actually begin to laugh together and they nicely proposed me to carry me and my backpacks to my hostel in the center. I’ve been waking up in a pretty bad mood but it was the beginning of a brilliant day!
Yoga with Mam Yoga Pai
The wake up was sad but I booked a lesson of yoga with Mam Yoga so I woke up Paul and Ben that I met the night before, they wanted to try the yoga in Pai.
Mountain bikes
I promised myself few month ago to never ride a mountain bike in my life again after I thought I will collapse after 8 hours on the cliffs in South England.
Second day with my big friends
A pumpkin cake in my stomach, Noi, a Mahout, an elephant and me started to climb the mountain in the jungle for a morning walk.
Queen Of The Jungle
The rain starts to fall on the Elephant Retirement Park. I watch the rice fields and the luxuriant jungle surrounding what will be my home for that night. For a short moment, time stopped here in these green lanscapes. It feels good.
Elephant Retirement Park
I can’t remember which blogger said that but this quote is one of my Mantra for this trip: “when you travel, you vote with your dollars”. That sentence made sense when I had to search for a place to spend some time with elephants.
