I wake up early and drive my scooter for what it seems like an eternity. The sun was slowly rising when I turn left at the round about with the giant God Statue, the gigantic and beautiful Archer Patung Arjuna. By the little amount of honking in the street, it was clear that the only people awoke were going to work.

One day you’ll find a prince to travel with. – Wait…What?!
In search of some good spots to dive (this time with Manta Rays), I chose to spend few days in Nusa Lembogan. Kate, a Kiwi working in a diving shop in Koh Tao told me about this island and seeing the sparkles in her eyes and the words she used to describe Nusa Lembogan, a “quiet” virgin island, I didn’t need any more influence to visit this little paradise.

Warm thoughts from Hell, with love.
My heart is beating so fast. I can’t breath properly. I’m crying rivers from the smoke in my eyes.
A mum is asking her nine years old kid to remove her gaz mask to take a picture with her bloody iPhone. The rotten eggs smell is unbearable. He throws up.

Passion Kayak – Adventure times
I was born in the south of France, in a pier. We moved to Paris when I was really young but my father and grand mother where still in Sete so we were spending every holidays there. My parents had a tradition: renting a kayak for one day and cruising along a river. I was not the best ever (I mean that I excelled doing zig zag, I was not really into going straight you know…) but I thought that renting a kayak with a guy who has been a kayak guide will be really fun. Bamboo train
After a little two hours walk, I ended up in the Battambang bamboo train station. A policemen (real one?) asked me to wait for another tourist to come to share a bamboo train. I start to make friend with the driver and ten minutes later a nice German lady arrived in a tuk tuk.

Battambang
Battambang made me feel like a city halfway between Thailand and Vietnam. This cute little place was under the French power for a long time, like in Vietnam… That maybe explains why the architecture at some point is so similar. After a fruit shake (this is the best breakfast you can have in Asia) at the White Rose, recommended by my friend Marion, I made my way to the Bamboo Train. It is an attraction for tourists now but they will probably stop doing it soon as Australia had a contract to regulate some roads and a lot of other things about transport in Cambodia. Or maybe I’ve heard somebody who’ve heard somebody who talked to somebody about it…. Something like that.

Second day with my big friends
A pumpkin cake in my stomach, Noi, a Mahout, an elephant and me started to climb the mountain in the jungle for a morning walk.
Queen Of The Jungle
The rain starts to fall on the Elephant Retirement Park. I watch the rice fields and the luxuriant jungle surrounding what will be my home for that night. For a short moment, time stopped here in these green lanscapes. It feels good.
